Men and Their Anal Sex Toys

Most men can be fit into one of five categories relating to anal sex toys.

1. Anal sex toys are a part of their sex life.

2. They’ve experimented once or twice and found that, really, anal sex toys just don’t do anything for them.

3. They’ve never used anal sex toys but might give it a shot if there was reason to.

4. They have always found, continue to find and will always find the anus to be very dirty and don’t want to go anywhere near it.

5. Men who’ve never used an anal sex toy and never will since the only men who use them are gay.

Men should never think that using anal sex toys means that they are gay.  Being gay is not an activity but a state of mind.  Enjoying anal play doesn’t make you gay, but enjoying any sexual activity or getting sexually aroused by another man does, and that’s pretty much it.

OK, it won’t make me gay to use anal sex toys but my anus is very small and I think it would be very uncomfortable to put something up there.

For both men and women, the anus has the 2nd highest concentration of nerve endings in the body, I think you can guess the first.  In addition to that, men have something that women don’t, a prostate.  The prostate has a lot of nerve endings and is often called the p-spot as it is often compared with the female g-spot.

The anus isn’t even that small and some quite large sex toys can fit up there without a problem.  However if you’ve don’t use anal sex toys then it could definitely hurt if you just go for it without warming up.

There are a lot of muscles that keep the sphincter closed and if you’re tense or nervous then they can be very tight.  If you force anything at this point then you will probably experience pain.  So take it slowly, start with a small sex toys or a finger until you feel more relaxed, then you can move onto something more substantial.

Also remeber to use plenty of lubrication, the body won’t make its own so you need to provide it all.  And you should always use a water-based lube, never silicone, silicone-based lubes won’t break down in your anus and over time will start to cause discomfort.

There’s no reason to hurry things along, take it slowly, enjoy all the new sensations along the way.

If not properly cleaned, yes, the anus can be dirty.  One of the most important steps to a clean anus is a recent bowel movement.  Your anus does a pretty good job of keeping itself clean on the inside so other than a quick anal douche the inside is pretty well taken care of.  Then all you need to do is take a shower and make sure you’re nice and clean on the outside.

However, if you’re still worried about it being dirty or gross there are a couple things you can do.  If your partner is using their fingers then they can wear latex gloves or even a condom.  And you can always throw a condom on your anal sex toys to keep them perfectly clean.  Just be very careful not to let the condom come off inside you or it could get embarrassing if you have to pay a visit to the doctor to get it out.
